Personalized Employee Donor Tiles 

Philanthropy plays a critical role in our mission to provide our community with high quality patient care and humankindness. Consider being recognized for your contribution toward the Health Equity Fund today. 

For employees making contributions of $1,500 or more to the Health Equity Fund, we plan to recognize your generosity with personalized tiles located in a garden walkway outside of the new patient tower. 

These etched-concrete tiles can bear your name or be dedicated to anyone that you would like to honor, whether a friend, mentor, or family member. The tiles will live outside of our hospital as public symbols of your generosity and support. 

Contributions can be made via:

• Payroll deduction (ongoing or one time)
• PTO donation (ongoing or one time)
• Cash donation

We encourage all employees to consider making a multi-year pledge, so that you do not have to give all at once. For example, an employee contributing $64.12 per pay period for the next three years will total $5,000 and be recognized with a large tile at the $5,000 level!

Additional details:

• For employees only, contributions do not need to be paid upfront to receive a tile. Multi-year pledges are eligible to receive a tile for the total amount of their multi-year contribution.
• Tiles will be engraved in groups, so once we have a sufficient number of tiles reserved, we will schedule them to be engraved. We will keep donors updated as to when they can expect their tile to be engraved.
• Personalized tiles will be installed at the discretion of California Hospital Medical Center. Tiles will not be engraved until at least 50% of the total contribution pledge is paid.
