Project Impact: Reimagining Mother-Baby Care

This project will modernize our maternity services with a complete redesign of our labor and delivery, antepartum, postpartum, and Neonatal Intensive Care units. Each year, we deliver close to 3,000 babies and admit over 500 to our 26-bed Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.

By providing a more spacious, nurturing environment that balances leading-edge medicine with family-centered care, we can give our youngest patients the very best start in life and ensure access to our full continuum of care, extending far beyond the walls of our hospital.

Having a baby is the most memorable experience for our patients, and my team and I are passionate about creating a wonderful experience for them.
The most rewarding part of my work is making an impact on the patients we serve. We are surrounded by a population with a lot of disparities and lack of health care access. I choose to work here because I want to make a difference in a community that needs education, medical care, and kindness.
The new building will mean having the resources our community needs: quality, evidence-based care, passionate nurses, private rooms, and modern technology, provided regardless of patient status."
